Tue 1st Oct      Arrival; Cramlington Learning Village and The Sele First School; Workshop

11.00           Refreshments at Jury’s Inn

Introductions and Welcome – Anne de A’Echevarria, Thinkwell

11.20           Depart for Cramlington Learning Village arrive by 12 noon
12:15           Depart for The Sele First School arrive by 13:00

15:15           Pick up from Schools and journey back to Jury's Inn

16:30-         Workshop: Philosophy for Children, Anne de A’Echevarria, Thinkwell 

18:00           Venue: The Sage, Gateshead. Meeting Room C2

19.30           Meal at Hotel 

Wed 2nd Oct   School visits; Afternoon Workshops; Evening session with Professor David Leat   

     School visits.  Pick up times as follows:

08:00           Kenton School, A Secondary Academy (8 visitors)

                   Visit 08:30 – 12:30
08:05           The Sele First School (10 visitors - the school will be providing lunch following classroom visits so you can talk to students, parents and staff.)

               Visit 09:00 – 13:30

08:30           Swalwell Primary School (6 visitors)

               Visit 09:00 – 12:30

08:35           Collingwood Arts & Media College 3-18 Special School (6 visitors)

                   Visit 09:20 – 12:30

12:30           Pick up from schools and return to Jury’s Inn

13:00           Lunch at hotel 

14:30-         Two workshops with Rhianna Tolsma and Erwin Bomas

19:30           Meal at Hotel 

20.00           After dinner talk from David Leat, Professor of Curriculum Innovation, University of Newcastle
